Nordic Track Incline Trainer Treadmill Review

I just saw a commercial for an interesting new treadmill this morning while I was watching "Made on VH1" The new treadmill is the Nordic Track Incline Trainer.

Nordic Track Incline Trainer Picture

The new incline trainer is basically a cross between a treadmill and stair stepper, and also has built in ski machine handles just like the clasic Nordic Track Ski Machines of yore.

Here are some of the specifications on the new incline trainer treadmill...

NordicTrack® 8600 Incline Trainer Features
• 5.0 HP Commercial-Grade Motor
• iFIT® Compatible
• 23-in. x 49-in. Commercial-Grade Treadbelt
• 4-Category Navigator™ Console
• CardioGrip™ Pulse Sensor
• -5% to 50% Power Incline™
• 1 Step™ Speed Control 0-8 MPH
• DuraSoft Compound™ Cushioning

The incline trainer has a massive motor rated at 5 horse power, most commercial treadmills at the gym only have 3 horse power - so right off the bat that's pretty impressive.

It also boasts iFit interactive workouts, a nice display console to monitor your workouts and a built-in cushioning system to ease the aches and pains in knees and feet.

I think Nordic Track has a winner on their hands with the incline trainer. I like it better than the new Bowflex Treadclimber as I think it will hold up better, because it doesn't have as many moving parts to break.

Here's more details on the Nordic Track Incline Trainer

If you've tried out the incline trainer, post comment and let others know how you liked it.
